While Catholicism, Judaism, and Islam all teach that usury is wrong, their members apparently cannot get enough of it.
What else explains the following?
The First Premier Bank has offered a credit card with 59.9% interest rate readjusted from 79.9% complete with a $45 processing fee to open the account, an annual fee of $30 for the first year, a $45 fee for each subsequent year and a monthly servicing fee of $6.24.

Decent people everywhere took genuine satisfaction at the irony of the televised bar proceedings involving disgraced Democratic prosecutor Michael Nifong recently.. Here was the prosecutor being prosecuted. Here was the inversion of justice, the purported defender of truth, justice and the American way being exposed as a purveyor of lies, injustice and subversion of constitutional right, and better yet, he is being made to pay for it.
Regrettably, Mr. Nifong is not a rare creature. From coast to coast, America is plagued with the twin epidemics of legal and government

As citizens we rely on government to provide services for us. Governments provide police protection, keep foreign enemies away from our borders, extinguish fires, pave roads, run the subways and administer the courts, for example.. They are entrusted to enact laws, enforce them and to do what is best for society.
That is the propaganda the System wants you to believe.

We in the United States have heard of the Untouchables for years, but confusion and misunderstanding exists about this topic. If one recalls social studies courses about India and its Hindu faith, one remembers that Indian society is a highly stratified society with the light-skinned Brahmins on the top and dark skinned Untouchables, called Dalits, on the bottom, and other castes in between.

In 1948, the United Nations, under moral pressure from revelations of the Second World War, adopted a Convention of the Prevention and Punishment of Genocide. In so doing they had to define exactly what genocide was. Mass murder is an obvious component, but the legal scholars who defined genocide also included as a definition the "transfer of children of one group to another group."(1) Physical annihilation is not required under the law. Destruction of a culture, infliction of harm and break up of families are also illegal.

I always wanted to be successful in business, although I've fallen short of the mark. Nevertheless, I read books, special reports and listened to tapes on the subject. I speak to wealthy friends and acquaintances.
A common theme always pervaded every book, conversation, tape and report. It always boiled down to three letters...OPM. OPM simply means “other peoples money."

Why do city and town governments exist?
If you have ever given this question some thought, the chances are you figured that they exist to serve us. That's why we call those town officials "public servants." It's because they serve the people, right? They clearly work for town government because they are altruists, wanting to do what is best for everybody, regardless of their own self interest, of course.. They might be fancied by some, or even themselves, as "patriots," in the line of the Founding Fathers.
